After insisting that they would air all 13 episodes of Joss Whedon's Dollhouse, Fox has pulled the show from the November schedule, says EW's Michael Ausiello. These weeks are significant because they are part of "sweeps", a time when ratings are collected from "diaries" and not just Nielsen boxes. These ratings are important when setting prices for advertisers in the future, so no network wants to be caught with poorly rated shows in November.
Right now, Dollhouse is due to return in December but even if it does, this surely will mark then end ot the show's rocky run.
