If you use Twitter much, you probably have been baffled at one time or another on what a specific #hashtag meant. Were you missing an important trend or meme? Or was the #moonfruit just a spammy gimmick?
What the Hashtag is a way to explore and understand a specific hashtag. What the Hashtag is powered by MediaWiki. The idea was spawned by the fact that there was a niche to be filled to learn about a specific hashtag.
