Lufthansa using Twitter to update flight status

Airplanes are now tweeting their exact location so friends, stalkers, and potential thieves know your air whereabouts thanks to Lufthansa

MySkyStatus automatically posts the current position of any airplane flight to Twitter or Facebook.

Twitter updates about as thrilling as you might expect from an airplane, sticking pretty much location and altitude and arrival times.

No updates on the planes feelings or desires, or even how fast the plane is traveling have been included on the Lufthansa Twitter updates.

The Lufthansa tweets could even be some creative writing on behalf of the aircraft because information is drawn from the aircrafts database.
