Like many of you, when I find myself with a few free minutes to relax during the day, I surf the web looking for fun facts about death and dying.
It soothes and relaxes me.
Here's a little something something about a 15-year old office boy around the turn of the century who died in what sounds like the strangest office mishap of all time.
If you can't read the tombstone, here's what it says:
Lost life by stab in falling on ink eraser evading six young women trying to give him birthday kisses in office Metropolitan Life building.
Dude was seriously afraid of cooties.
Did I mention it was his birthday?
Read the whole creepy sad funny strange story as it was printed in The New York Times on February 16, 1909.
Those were some different times.
