Luke’s Wings is a charity known for throwing great events that fundraise to fly the families of wounded soldiers to their loved ones’ bedside. Since Wednesday is Veterans’ Day, it is perfect timing to have an event that helps our active service members. And what a better way to do it than clinking and drinking to support them! This Wednesday the 11th from 9pm-12am, The Rhino bar will host the effort to raise money for plane tickets. In light of the tragic shooting at Fort Hood, the proceeds will not only go towards the families that have requested help with plane tickets but will also raise money to fly all the families of the Fort Hood shooting victims to their side in Texas. Either pay the $15 entry cover at the door or simply donate $10 at www.lukeswings.org to be automatically added to the VIP list.
