If you are looking for a change from the hustle and bustle of the city for the holidays, escape to the peace and quiet of the Hilton in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Planning a honeymoon or just a quiet getaway for this location would be an incredible decision because the room service is impeccable and the cuisine is extremely delicious and memorable whether you dine in the restaurant, bar or even your room. The quality is still exceptional! If you are looking for a great place to meet & greet for the holidays, this is it! The Hilton in Santa Fe is a delight for young adults and seniors alike.

The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable with ample room to store all of your special purchases while shopping ad sightseeing in the area. They have all the amenities you have learned to respect. Cultural tours will have you mesmerized by the warmth of the people native to Santa Fe and the history of the surrounding area.

Here are some of their most famous dishes everyone comes here for. I certainly enjoyed every one during my four day stay. For starters, you must try the chef's famous green Chile corn chowder. It is made southwestern style with lots of flavor and is not too spicy. It has cheddar cheese melted on top and is served with corn tortilla chips. Unforgettable! They also serve a fresh soup of the day that varies. These are wonderful also!

The chef has created a duck chimi changa that features shredded roast duck, cheddar cheese and picante sauce served with sour cream. The Santa Fe quesadillas are rich and flavorful. Chicken can be added to them to make them a whole meal in themselves. Green chilis, smoked bacon and cheese are grilled in a tortilla served with guacamole, sour cream and picante sauce. I had these twice, they we so delicious and light.

For an entrée, The Ortiz Chef Salad was an incredible feast for the eyes. All the ingredients were cleverly layered in thin strips all over the romain lettuce. These included sliced ham, chicken, cheddar cheese, Swiss cheese, onions, tomatoes, carrots and hardboiled eggs. It is served with your choice of dressing. I had mine with a wonderful raspberry dressing. Fantastic!

For dessert, you must try the Famous Pinion Nut Sundae. It has been a house favorite for over twenty years and I definitely know why. It is served in an almond-pinion nut tuile resembling a lacy bowl. Vanilla ice cream scoops nest inside with caramel sauce decorating the whole desert in a beautiful display of artistry.

If you want the perfect place for a getaway on a vacation, Honeymoon, or escape for the holidays, come to the Santa Fe Hilton! You will be so glad you did!
