5 Elements Entertainment has announced the release of the first accurate and functional iPhone Luo Pan.
The "5 Element's Feng Shui Compass", is available now on the Apple iTunes.
The compass features traditional Luo Pan style control (using your finger to turn the wheel), scrolling (using two fingers) to see any part of the wheel, and zooming in and out (by triple tapping) to be able to see the whole wheel at once.
Wood, partner and producer at 5 Elements Entertainment said,
"Perhaps the most useful feature is the ability to take a screen shot using the on screen camera icon. A client or practitioner would then be able to email that large sized picture to themselves or to their practitioner for quick full page printing to aid in calculations."
This compass has been tested against high quality commercial compasses and has been found to be just as accurate. Eric Speier AKA Water, partner at 5 Elements Entertainment said,
"Just like any other compass, the "5 Element's Feng Shui Compass" IS affected by magnets, metal and any other objects that affect traditional compasses."
Partner and senior technical officer, Air, allayed any fears that the compass may be adversely impaired by the fact that it is built in a cell phone:
"The iPhone does not disturb it's own built-in compass. It will act to disturb external compasses like any cell phone, but Apple has made sure the the built in compass is not affected."
As a final note, Wood added,
"We wanted to make the "5 Elements Entertainment Feng Shui Compass" useful for both the Feng Shui Practitioner and Do-It-Yourselfer alike... or better yet as a tool in a collaborative effort. Not only is it easy to use with a rich feature set, but it's also only a buck!"
