In order to change your life for better you have to remove all the possible obstacles from the way of positive energy that is to enter your living and work space. Feng Shui offers many ways of clearing space from negative and stagnant chi. Clean and clear home will attract and welcome the fresh energy of growth and development, as a result.

The first step toward living in a positive Feng Shui environment is, of course, cleaning and organizing. However, there is another opportunity to reinforce the effect of tidiness. It is getting rid of things you don’t need. They are:

  • Things you haven’t used for a year
  • Things you don’t like
  • Everything broken

Things you haven’t used for a year don’t attract positive energy

If you haven’t used something for such a long period of time, then you definitely can live without it. So, give or throw it away in order to clear space for new and better things. It just works like that - throw away an old or broken watch, and friends or relatives get eager to give you a new one!

Conduct an audit of your papers. There are definitely some you don’t need.

Look through the folders in your PC. Do you really need all that information?

Things you don’t like multiply negative energy

Give or throw away everything you don’t like or enjoy. Even if such an item has been given to you as a present, don’t make yourself suffer looking at an unpleasant gift every day. It won’t do any good. On the contrary – evoking negative feelings and emotions, such a thing will only attract more negativity into life. However, be sure not to trick yourself by just hiding the thing into a wardrobe. It won’t help. Positive energy will not come to the places full of negative associations.

Everything broken attracts negative chi

Broken things naturally attract negative energy. Therefore, such items should be either immediately repaired, or got rid of. The space you clear in such a way will be attracting new and better things: nature does not stand emptiness. The more free space you have in your house, the more new things are to fill it. So, don’t be afraid to say goodbye to the old clutter, enjoy the process of clearing space, and the house will thank you back by attracting wonderful and pleasant new things.
