Feng Shui, an ancient Chinese science about living in harmony with the external world, is aimed at creating a harmonious and well-balanced living environment. But where to start?

An environment full of positive and creative energy must be comfortable, first of all. If you don’t feel confident and cozy in some area of the house, something should definitely be changed. The problem might be in the smallest things that we often don’t even notice: a picture on the wall, the color of the carpet, a figurine on the bookshelf. The list may be endless, and while an experienced Feng Shui consultant is sure to tell you the exact problem, let’s try to fix something independently.

Change something

The slightest changes can influence the flow of energy dramatically. Therefore, there is not need to replace furniture or completely redesign the room. Start with something small. Bring in a live flower, change the curtains, relocate the elements of décor, or simply add more light. Such a change will definitely energize and refresh the space.

Clean and organize

Another option (not even an option, but a must) is cleaning and organizing. Feng Shui isn’t for lazy. So, prepare for a great cleaning: positive and fresh energy is attracted to fresh and clean spaces. Therefore, it is vitally important to keep home in order.

  • Clean the windows – dirty glass doesn’t let the good energy in.
  • Get rid of all the clutter – harmony and well-being do not stand messy spaces.
  • Organize everything – order in wardrobes and drawer will bring order into the mind. Throw away unused or broken things – free the space for new and better ones.
