Around Christmas time I remember all the fascinating music that enthralled my thoughts and mind as a young girl. I remember the Dolly Patron's, the Mariah Carey's, and of course, the King. I can't help but to think of what he wanted out of Christmas each year, speaking of peace, unity and a solemn kind heart across the world.
I can listen to the sounds of "Blue Christmas" and instantly get swept up into clouds of snow and hot chocolate with marshmallows. Many people can understand the grace of "Peace in the Valley" and "Cryin' in the Chapel" as only a southern, sweet toned voice could provide.
By visiting Elvis.com, fans of the King of Rock and Roll are able to sing alongside Elvis a Christmas song to their liking. Something any avid Elvis follower will enjoy. With the use of the Christmas Duets CD, fans are able to send an ecard to their friends and family with their very own voices backing Elvis. What a great holiday treat!
With December being so important for the holiday season alone, it is easy for some to forget that Elvis celebrates his birthday just 7 days prior to Christmas. To wish him a happy birthday from beyond, fans can also contribute toward St. Jude in helping many children that have a difficult time celebrating this holiday. A cause that the King would surely be proud of.
So as I close, I send out warm wishes to those that are thinking of peace, grace and a hope for a better tomorrow through this wonderful holiday season. May everyone that is enjoying their music take a moment to listen to the blues and enjoy a little Elvis.
God Bless!
