Find out more about Guy: Guy has worked for a number of Fortune 500 rail transportation companies, serving in such varied capacities as track maintenance, locomotive repair, brakeman, conductor, engineer, yardmaster, trainmaster, superintendent, assistant vice-president and senior vice-president. He has served on the Board of Directors of both passenger and freight railways. He has been a commuter in the Bay Area since 1990 serving on the Board of Directors of a ferry support group and instrumental in filing a number of California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) motions aimed at preserving ferry service at lower rates. As a consultant he has studied and sometimes worked for railways and transit operations all over the world, including North America, Africa, South America, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. He has a degree in Journalism from Boston University and has served as a writer, editorialist and Editor of San Francisco Bay Crossings. |
