Russian authorities have found a novel way to deal with drivers speeding through dangerous intersections--hire Brad Pitt as a traffic cop.

Well, not actually Brad Pitt himself, just his two-dimensional stand-in.  According to the Denver Post, a Russian newspaper reports that "cardboard cutouts of Pitt dressed as a traffic cop have been placed by the most dangerous intersections in the city of Omsk."

Omsk officials say their unique approach to the problem is making a difference, and that traffic accidents have declined since Brad's arrival on the scene.  Drivers are apparently slowing down to catch a good look at the Hollywood heartthrob.

We can't argue with success!  Who knows?  Maybe Brad--or Angelina--will soon be appearing at an intersection near you.
