Reporter Cathi Carson of Action News (Channels 30 and 47) does a stand-up interview with Jacksonville Aviation Authority external affairs director Michael Stewart while videographer Robert Jackson records the interview. Also asking questions were reporters Tiffany Griffith of WOKV radio and Examiner’s Leo King.

Look for the Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA) to say tomorrow that Jacksonville International Airport and Google have joined up to offer Wi-Fi to travelers at JAX, Jacksonville International Airport. There still won't be a charge for the service.

Look for the JAA to say within days that Cecil Commerce Center is officially a spaceport for horizontal take-offs and landings – as opposed to vertical lift-off.
JAA is operating a pair of battery-driven vehicles to carry passengers from the parking garage at the airport to the crosswalk that leads to the departure terminal.
All that information was gleaned today at JAA's "Media Day" at their offices near JAX, where reporters were invited to spend a few hours at places the public seldom gets to see, such as the behind-the-scenes view of baggage handling and security - lots of security.
Tomorrow Jacksonville Transportation Examiner will offer a lengthy story detailing what's going on.
