Gomez playing two shows tonight

English indie rockers Gomez are putting in two nights of work tonight. First, the psychedelic five-piece is making an in-store appearance at Waterloo before they head to Stubb's. Their in the first stages of a US tour culminating with an August 8th appearance at Lollapalooza. Their 1998 debut, Bring It On, was critically acclaimed and set the stage for their decade-long rise culminating in their winning the Mercury Music Prize for the best album in the UK. Their newest album, A New Tide is currently available for pre-order.
Gomez shares the Stubb's stage with Florida's funk/soul/blues outfit JJ Grey & Mofro.
