By Hump Day Wednesday, you will need a little pick me up.  And in this economy, you'll want it to be free.  So on Jan. 7, check out the Occidental Brothers Dance Band International at the Kennedy Center's Millenium Stage.

The Occidental Brothers Dance Band International, a multi-racial band, plays Central and West African classical dance music, specializing in soukous, highlife, rumba, dry guitar, and other genres from the continent. With band members hailing from Chicago, Ghana and places in between, their various backgrounds in traditional African music, jazz, and underground rock jam together and leave audiences with a memorable, eclectic sound.

Like all Millenium Stage peformances, the show starts at 6 p.m., doesn't require tickets and best of all, is free!  If you don't feel like driving to the Kennedy Center, take the train to the Foggy Bottom Metro Station  and then take the shuttle that runs every 15 minutes to the theater.

Check out the Occidental Brothers Dance Band International here and then go check them out live.  This group usually plays sold-out shows and you have the opportunity to see them for free! You definitely don't want to miss that!

Now go have unlimited fun with limited funds!
