If you're looking for some great, family friendly events happening this holiday and inaugural weekend, then look no further than the Smithsonian Institution!

The Smithsonian will commerate our country's historic inauguration with an array of events at various museums.  The events include treasure hunts, musical and dance performances, film screenings, book signings, lectures, and much, much more!  Click here for a full schedule.

The events begin on Jan. 16 and end on Jan. 21.  The event times range from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.  The events are free and open to the public. Vist Metro's website for public transportation information. 

If you will be visiting the District for inauguration, take the opportunity to see our city's treasure: the Smithsonian Institution.  And with all the fun, exciting, family friendly events, it will be extra special!

Now go have unlimited fun with limited funds!
