A new law in Colorado will force motorists to give cyclists three feet between their precious vehicle and the human on a bike (via Chicago Reader).

In short, humans on bikes will get three feet of space from the hulking machines trailing behind, in front, or to the sides of them. The law was signed "recently" by Colorado's governor, Bill Ritter.

I'd like to see this in our area too. More so following Greater Greater Washington's morning report concerning a cyclist and Metrobus.
