Pacific Sound's Sunset Campout 2009 promo.

Festivals and Camping Trips:
The Fillmore Jazz Festival (July 4-5) is the largest free Jazz festival on the West Coast, drawing over 90,000 visitors over the Independence Day weekend. From sunup to sundown it will be blending art and soul in one of the country's most unique neighborhoods. Wisitors can groove to the sounds of live music from multiple stages, browse the offerings of over 8 blocks of fine art and crafts and enjoy gourmet food and beverages. Asian to Cajun, paintings to pottery, old favorites and new directions, the Fillmore Jazz Festival is not to be missed.

Priceless 2009 (July 3-5) will be False Profit's 4th annual campout July 4th weekend in Belden, CA about 4 hours north of San Francisco. The event will kick off Friday afternoon with an open deck BBQ and continue non-stop ’til the final bassline drops during Sunday’s communal brunch.

Sunset Campout (July 17-19) by Pacific Sound will be a three day event of 3 stages of music, swimming, camping, and art in Belden, California. Some of the artists that will be performing include LOPAZZ (Get Physical Music - Berlin), CONVEXTION (Echospace, Rush Hour - Dallas), THUGFUCKER (Thugfucker Records, Mood Music - NYC/Rome), HESOHI (Imperial Dub, Aesoteric - Clevelend), DIRT CREW feat. James Flavour (Dirt Crew Records, Mood Music - Berlin), ALEX SMOKE (Soma Quality Recordings, Kompakt - UK), SOLOMONIC SOUND feat. Rob, Paine (Worship Records/Shakedown - Philadelphia), and CARLOS GIBBS (Redbox - Tokyo).

Reggae Rising Music Festival (July 31-Aug 2) is located on Highway 101 at Dimmick Ranch and French's Camp. Humboldt County is located on California's northern coast, with the city of Eureka situated about 300 miles north of San Francisco and 100 miles south of the Oregon border. Most visitors choose to travel to the Redwood Coast by car to enjoy the spectacular scenery.
