Big ups to my man Doug Drexler, our Tampa MMA Examiner for gathering all the information from Examiners all across the board and coming up with this list. The list of Examiners that participated in this rankings are Eddie Graveline (MMA Examiner), Nick Sita (LA MMA Examiner), Greg Garcia (Pro Wrestling Examiner) and Phil Lanides (San Jose MMA Examiner). I also added my Pound-for-Pound best list as well.
Feel free to share your thoughts on whether you agree with our list or not.
D Source's Pound-4-Pound Top 10
#1 Fedor Emelianenko - Big, bad, powerful and undefeated. nufsed.
#2 Anderson Silva - Was my former #1 but lackluster performances caused the slide. Still freakishly good though.
#3 Georges St. Pierre - Smart, skilled, talented and perhaps does not have a weakness.
#4 Miguel Torres - Can easily be number one to four, but I'll see how he does in his next fight in August. One of the best small men in MMA EVER!
#5 Lyoto Machida - Made Rashad Evans look like a bum.
#6 Quinton "Rampage" Jackson - Rampage is a beast whichever way you put it. I wish he fought Machida instead of Evans though, but I guess as Rampage said, "there's going to be black-on-black crime."
#7 Frank Mir - One of the best technicians in the game. Destroyed legend Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira in his last bout.
#8 Thiago Alves - Can jump a few nothces higher if he beats St. Pierre in UFC 100. This kid is for real.
#9 BJ Penn - You already know.
#10 Mike Brown - Gritty win over the one handed Faber. Wish he could've closed however.
