You could have heard a pin drop in the Caribbean yesterday afternoon during the  Inauguration. Caribbean nationals were as interested in the big event as most Americans were. We don't have cable down here on the farm yet, but to my delight, both of the local television stations televised the Obama Inauguratuion from start to finish. That is the first time in my four years here that they've devoted any time to any US event. The world is certainly ready for the promised change. We are all waiting and watching with high hopes. And the sense of unity for once, is a real breath of fresh air.
