These photos are great examples of urban chic because of their lack of uniformity. The first outfit takes on the contradiction of masculine and feminine with its use of leather and a plaid button-up. The same masculine-feminine clash is undertaken with the outfit on the left. This outfit takes an incredibly masculine biker jacket and transforms it into the outerwear of a sleek ensemble by combining it with such a basic skirt. The skirt and camisole outfit on the right demonstrates an easy way to balance such a striking print.
The important thing to remember when dressing in the urban chic fashion is to avoid homogeneity. Avoid looking too "put together" by mixing trends, prints and prices.
