While police did come out with the important news yesterday that the gun used in the death of Steve McNair and Sahel Kazemi was purchased by the woman two days prior, the questions surrounding the tragedy continue to grow.

Keith Norfleet, Kazemi's ex-boyfriend, visited McNair's condo the day of the murder but won't say why. He also knew intimate details of the relationship between the two. Norfleet also had an ominous message posted on his MySpace page.

Making things more bizarre, Jett Jackson, a friend of Norfleet's posted a message on his MySpace account two days before the murders already announcing that Kazemi had passed away and that also bashed McNair.

The fact that McNair's life was threatened the night before his death and that his wife didn't know his whereabouts for two days also leaves questions that beg answering. It's also unclear as to the current status of McNair and his wife and if she even knew about Kazemi. It seems pretty much impossible that she didn't know given the pictures of McNair and Kazemi on TMZ.com, but maybe she was living under a rock. Who knows?

It's also interesting that police believe most of the bullets that struck McNair were not fired from close range. If Kazemi was to commit the murder, wouldn't she have a tough time being so accurate from such a distance using the gun for the first time and possibly being nervous and or enraged? I know there are a lot of coincidences, but something just doesn't seem to make sense.

There are just so many questions that remain unanswered, which is why the police are taking their time and not just declaring this a murder-suicide and calling it a day. I think it's going to be quite some time before all of the blanks are filled in, if ever.
