After the trio pled not guilty last week to charges they conspired to provide prescription drugs to the former model that led to her death two years ago, Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Kristi Lousteau ordered them back to court for a preliminary setting conference on June 8, 2009.
The three felony charges were filed in March against Smith’s former boyfriend Howard K. Stern, 40, and her two doctors, Sandeep Kapoor, 40, and Khristine Eroshevich, 61 came after a two-year investigation by the California Attorney General Jerry Brown.
The drugs that they allegedly supplied Smith include, clonazepam, methadone and chloral hydrate.
Smith died of an accidental overdose at the age of 39 in a Florida hotel room.
According to Wenn News, the two doctors face an additional charge of obtaining a prescription for opiates by fraud, deceit or misrepresentation and prescribing opiates by giving a false name or address.

If found guilty of all charges, they could face up to 33 years behind bars.
