When Fall rolls around, Half Moon Bay comes alive with autumn splendor as the orange pumpkins dot the fields and people of all ages merge upon this picture perfect seaside town to enjoy the world-famous Half Moon Bay Art and Pumpkin Festival.

Half Moon Bay has been hailed as the “World Pumpkin Capital”, and the 39th Annual festival takes place October 17-18 (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM). Historic Main Street is transformed into a harvest wonderland of pumpkin carvers, musical entertainment, contests, parades, arts and crafts, and of course, delicious pumpkin pie!

The admission is free, and there is definitely something for everyone at one of California’s oldest, biggest and most popular festivals.
