Each year, writers who have been members of the Baseball Writers Association of America for at least 10 years receive a ballot for the Hall of Fame voting. The results are announced in January. Voters are allowed to select up to ten players each year, and 75% of the vote is required to gain election to baseball’s Hall of Fame.

I’d like to give the Examiner readers a chance to vote for their own Hall of Famers – this is your chance to show support for those you think deserve to be enshrined.  Choose as many players as you'd like, and feel free to use the comments section to debate the merits of each choice.  I will close the poll next Sunday and announce the results.

Use the "View Survey" link at the bottom of the page to cast your votes!

If you need some help deciding, check out fellow MLB Examiner Tony DeMarco's Hall of Fame related articles on Rickey Henderson, Andre Dawson, Jim Rice, Bert Blyleven, and the rest of the ballot.
