Twitter is an awesome tool! Kelly, from Sounding My Barbaric Gulp, has her iPhone with her, and is Twittering updates to her fans while enjoying the glitter and bling in LA. She reports that she landed in Los Angeles just fine, and is staying at the famous Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel! I wonder how she did on the flight?
Just minutes ago, she says she had "dinner at pizzeria mozza: fried squash blossoms, marrow, pizzas, prosecco. Now drinking Veuve Clicquot from the minibar in the hotel room." She must be exhausted, what with all the preparations, excitement and travel. Oh, and she just posted her interview with the National Food Blog Examiner! What a life, huh?
More about Kelly's big day tomorrow. I can't wait to hear what she's wearing, how the new shoes look, who she's rubbing elbows with, what she's eating, and most importantly, what is Julie Powell like? Did fame and fortune go to her head, or is she just a regular humble food blogger just like us? Yeah, right! Most of us food bloggers are total praise whores. I know I am!
