Serious Eats weekly cookbook giveaway is an extremely popular feature. Each Monday, the Serious Eats Team posts a new cookbook review, and announces their contest rules and requirements. Spring, summer, fall or winter, their choice of cookbooks is always perfect for the current season or holiday.

Recently published in April, 2009, Rustic Fruit Desserts by Cory Schreiber and Julie Richardson, is a gorgeous 176 page book that retails for $22.00. Serious Eats, together with publisher Ten Speed Press, is giving away five (5) copies of Rustic Fruit Desserts.

Not only does Serious Eats give away 5 cookbooks each week, they also post a recipe a day - Monday thru Friday - from the featured book in a column called, Cook the Book. Today's recipe is for Rustic Fruit Desserts Rhubarb Cream Cheese Pie with Fresh Strawberries. I'm always on the look-out for a new rhubarb recipe, so I can't wait to try this one out! They'll surprise us with another recipe tomorrow, and the next day as well!
Serious Eats is so generous, they'll start all over again the following week with a new and exciting cookbook giveaway. What's not to love about that?
