The "29th Annual Cycle World International Motorcycle Show" will be back at the Washington DC Convention Center from January 15 - 17, 2010.
According to Kurt Whittington, organizer of the shows "History of Motorcycles" exhibit, he is looking for "vintage, rare or unique motorcycles in good show condition" to be part of the exhibit. Kurt explains that display bikes can be "street, dirt, or even scooters" and that bikes "as new as a 1996 Ducati 916" have been displayed, because it's such "an iconic bike."
If you have a motorcycle that you'd like to enter in the History of Motorcycles display, you can download an entry form and email it to Kurt, or call him at (949)954-8457. There is no charge to display your bike in the show. For your participation, you will receive (1) Exhibitor Badge that allows you full access to the show, building access fees for your bike, and (2) free single-day tickets to the show.
If you attended last years Washington DC show, you may remember seeing my 1988 Honda "Super Magna." This year, I'm planning to exhibit both my 1987 and my 1988 Super Magna's!
See you at the show!
