In 1999, the Kansas City Wizards' Chris Henderson tied an MLS record with four assists during K.C.'s 6-0 victory against the N.Y./N.J. MetroStars.

Only Carlos Valderrama of Tampa Bay has accomplished this feat, as well, when he had four assists against the New England Revolution in 1997.

Henderson was an MLS original who played in 11 seasons. When he retired after the 2006 season, he held the all-time league lead in games (317), starts (304) and assists (80).

The Edmonds, Wash., native currently is Seattle Sounders FC's technical director.
