From Livingston to Sluice Boxes State Park (a 140 mile drive) on US HWY-89 will take you through the valley between the Bridger Mountains (see the photo at the top of this article) and the Crazy Mountains. On the way you can see the towns of Monarch, Neihart, White Sulphur Springs, Ringling, Wilsall and Clyde Park. This road was one of my routes when I worked for Randy the Hides Guy.

Winter road hazards such as snow drifts and poor visibility and winter road closures affect all the roads in our area so exercise caution during your travels -- good luck and have fun!
