Crayon Physics Deluxe, the winner of 2008's Independent Games Festival and addictive gameplay is now available for the iPhone/iTouch.  There have been numerous releases of physics based games for the iPhone, but nothing compares to the kiddish art style and innovative gameplay of this work of art.

The best part of the game is the art.  Growing up it was your tool of choice to scribble on the walls or going outside the lines of a coloring book.  The style of the game is executed to perfection from the squiggly lines of a house to the scribbles of the grass.  It's like having your drawing come to life in a game.

The game is not too difficult to master.  I had little to no problems going from puzzle to puzzle.  Having an imagination is a plus but the puzzles are not too difficult to go through once you get the hang of drawing with your finger.

I noticed that the game is still buggy with slow frame-rate and freezing and I'm sure the developers will get the kinks taken care of real soon.  To solve the sluggishness of the game,  I recommend a fresh reboot of your iPhone or iTouch.

Overall is it a fun game and I think it is worth the five dollar investment.  My rating: 3 out of 5 stars.

Pros:  Colorful art style, addictive gameplay.

Cons:  Can be sluggish at time, reboot the device if necessary.

Crayon Physics Deluxe is available at the iTunes Store for $4.99.
