The iPhone continues to amaze me as an avid gamer.  Apple's popular handset has been gaining more and more steam as a gaming platform that can compete with Sony's PSP and the Nintendo DS.

So what do you get a gamer with an iPhone?   You can easily get them an iTunes gift card and let them pick and choose which games to get.  Below are my Top 10 games that you will have no regrets picking up.

1. Fieldrunners ($4.99) - Fieldrunners is a desktop tower defense game that I highly recommend every iPhone owner should have.  Quick and simple gameplay makes this a winner.

2. Nine Inch Nails Tap Tap Revenge ($4.99) - Trent Reznor has expanded his audience with one of the best rhythm games on the iPhone, Tap Tap Revenge.

3. Super Monkey Ball ($7.99) - My pick for graphics and fun gameplay.   This game has a lot of replay value on it.

4. Zombie Invasions ($0.99) - It's Zombies!  You can't go wrong with mindless destructions of the undead.

5. Uno ($7.99) -  A classic card game that you can play online with your friends using wi-fi.

6. Bejeweled 2 ($2.99) - Casual game that you can sit for hours pairing up gems.

7. Guitar Rock Tour ($9.99) - A Guitar Hero clone that will fulfill your rhythm gaming fix.

8. Spores Origins ($9.99) - If you ever played "Flow" for the PS3, this game is exactly it.  You start out as a small spore and eventually evolve your creature by ingesting little microbes.

9. The Force Unleashed ($7.99) - Star Wars meets motion gesture as you play Darth Vader's secret apprentice and experience the universe as the dark side.

10. Scoops ($0.99) - A simple game where you use the accelerometer to catch falling scoops of ice cream on your comb.
