'Fieldrunners' is one of the best games on the iPhone

Tower Defense games are fun for killing time which makes Fieldrunners, one of the latest games for the iPhone, the perfect game to play on your phone.
Your job is to defend your base with defense towers with short range turrets or slow down the fieldrunners with a goo. The game comes with 3 difficulty settings and packed a ton of replay value for only $4.99 from the iTunes App Store.
My only complaint is that I wish there was a soundtrack for the game. I could turn on my game with custom soundtrack but sometimes you don't feel like you're into the game when you do that. Also, I wish there were more weapons to choose from. Some of those fieldrunners can get pretty nasty and fast on the hardest difficulty. According to their iTunes App Store description, it looks like a few updates are planned so maybe some of my requests would be heard.
If you are a fan of Tower Defense games such as 'Desktop Defense Tower' or 'Pixeljunk Monsters', then 'Fieldrunners' is the next best thing on your iPhone. The game looks visually good compared to a lot of what is out there today. Five out of Five Stars.
