I'm a gambling man.  That's why I have enjoyed Texas Hold'em on my iPhone.

I have vested in so many hours into this game trying to get as much money as possible.  The more money you win, the better your chance of going to the next table.  If you lose, then you have to earn more money for the next buy-in.   I think what makes me enjoy this game so much that it the AI is smart and you don't feel cheated like you are playing with a bunch of dead head computer bots.

The game can be played both landscape and portrait view.   What I like about the portrait view is that it gives you animated characters that you can make a read on whether they are bluffing or not.  I hardly play in that view cause I favor the quick pace of the landscape mode.

Texas Hold'em can be purchased on the iTunes Store for $4.99.

Four stars out of five.
