The progression of Oakland's Uptown District is in full swing. Come experience it for yourself at the "Uptown Unveiled" street fair, this Thursday, June 18th, 2009, 5-10pm. The event will be centered in and around Telegraph Avenue from 16th Street to West Grand/Broadway (or take bart to the 19th Street station).
There will be three stages of live music, illuminated art and galleries, ice skating, various performers, and all restaurants and night spots will be eager to please with open arms. It is free admission and a wonderful way to experience the new and improved Uptown District of Oakland.Come eat, meet, play, and explore!
