Gov. Ed Rendell, during a predictably Dumb exchange in which an MSNBC anchor hypothesized that the Pittsburgh health club shooting would have been prevented if everyone in the joint had been packing:
"That's ludicrous. I mean, who works out, who works out with a gun in the band of their workout clothes? Nobody does! It's a ludicrous idea."
Normally I'd be with the Guv, 'cept it turns out that for some people the waistband of their sweatpants is a fine place in which to tuck a firearm. Humph!
