Philly.com's Brandy Bell has an interview with former mayoral candidate and misunderstood chanteuse Milton Street today. The 69-year-old brother of former Mayor John Street added much weirdness to last year's mayoral race -- and was sentenced to 30 months for failing to pay taxes last month. Has heading to the pokey got Milton Street down? Hells no.
Street promises he won't be gone long from the political scene. "These misdemeanors don't preclude me from being involved in the political process," he tells Bell.
Street even hints that he might try another run for mayor.
"Maybe mayor again?" Bell asks, apparently trying to hide her incredulity.
"Yeah, without question," Street responds.
