Hebrews 13:1 says that you are not to forget to entertain strangers as in so doing you may very well entertain angels without knowing it. You mean that spirits within the spirit realm can take on a human form and interact with you and me? Absolutely, spirits can take on many forms, including that of a human. When in a human likeness, they can appear to resemble someone that you once knew, and has now departed from this earth. It is this very technique that is often utilized by séance proponents and mediums when they ‘conjure up’ dearly departed loved ones. In fact, all they are conjuring up is a familiar spirit in the likeness and form of a person that the séance participants recognize. It is not difficult to deceive someone that really wants to believe their departed loved one has returned from the grave to ‘forgive them’ or to speak to them. In fact, the tension in the air, the anticipation, all plays into the atmosphere that is ripe with suggestion. Add, a willing demonic spirit (also known as a familiar spirit) and you have a recipe for a really thrilling séance (if that’s your thing). Personally, I don’t like communicating with any spirit, except the King of kings…

You do need to understand that all spirits were created by God. John 1:3 (all things were made through Him). In fact all things were created through the ‘spoken word’ of God. To deny spirits (ghosts) is to deny that God created such a creature. Yet, the book of Revelation records that a number of Angels (spirits sent to minister to man) indeed did fall (Rev 12:7-10). Indeed these fallen angels were sent to the earth by Michael (the arch angel)…so its safe to assume that these fallen angels (aka ghosts) now roam the earth, as there was no room for them in heaven. If these fallen angels roam the earth, where else would they be but ready to mess with unsuspecting humans wanting to engage in a sinful practice of a séance? Where ever there is deception, there will be a fallen angel (ghost/spirit).

My Favourite quotes - by Thomas Jefferson

  • The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in governmen
  • When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.
  • That government is best which governs the least, because its people discipline themselves.
