Proverbs 23:7 as a man thinks in his heart so is he. This is such a simple yet profound verse...but it holds the key to prosperity in our lives. My definition of prosperity is not defined by your bank balance, but rather by your whole life. Are you prospering in your whole life, in every area? Most people would define prosperity by their bank balance, and then wonder why their interpersonal skills are so lacking!

Prosperity is a whole life concept. Your marriage, your family, your bank balance, your health - is every aspect of your life in 'sync'? The bible has the key to 'whole life prosperity' and it all begins with your thought processes. In Joshua 1:8 God instructs Joshua on this whole life prosperity by telling Joshua what to meditate on if he (Joshua) wants to be prosperous and have good success in every area of life. God is the ultimate Life Coach. He is the first 'Life Coach' and the Last life coach. He has the answers,a nd the keys to your whole life prosperity!

Let us say that you want to loose weight. How would you apply this process? Simple really. Most diets result in a weight loss/weight gain scenario. I call that 'yo-yo' dieting. I have been coaching (only it was referred to as 'pastoring') for sometime now. So many of the ladies who have wanted to loose and sustain their weight loss have applied this principle and the result was astounding. A constant and maintained weight loss begins with a change in your thinking.

If you would like to prosper, it all starts with your thinking. Your thoughts lead to your emotions. Your emotions lead to your actions. Your actions lead to habits which results in your future being formed by your present thinking. I have seen people change their entire lives in 6 weeks when they applied this principle (and had personal coaching sessions every week!). The weekly coaching sessions are not there for any other reason than to hold the person's hand (so to speak) and correct any thinking patterns from re-emerging. Thought patterns are formed over the years and as such take time to be changed. A stressful event will result in a change back to the whole way of thinking, which in turn brings back the old habits, and pretty soon the dieting person is consuming a tub of cookie dough!

Can you change your future! Most assuredly yes...however it often takes the partnership of a lifestyle coach as many of us do not have the discipline to stick to the plan. Some of us don't even have a plan to begin with. If you want to make some changes, find your self a good life coach, one that has a clear understanding of the word of God and lives by these principles...

My Favourite quotes - by Thomas Jefferson

  • The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in governmen
  • When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.
  • That government is best which governs the least, because its people discipline themselves.
