When you are walking through the valley of the shadow of death, keep on walking. Don't stop. Don't set up camp at the pity party junction. Walk straight past and keep on walking.

Psalm 23 records that God has set His rod and His staff to guide and protect you. Your role in this process is to just do the walking. I know this sounds tough, but the quicker you walk, the less you will hang around in the valley.

In my article "Role of Storms I deal with this in more detail. There is a mountaintop with your name on it, just beyond this valley.

Romans 8:28 says that we know that ALL things work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purposes and plans. I encouarge you to read this verse in the Amplified version...it is really exciting when you have an understanding that the battles you are facing have already been won. You are already the Victor. No matter how it appears that battle turns out, be assured that your Father in heaven has your interests on His heart all the time. You will ultimately come through this battle and climb the mountain the next day. Vistory is yours. When you have done everything you know to do, then ultimately all you have left to do is stand. Your next step is take a step, and keep on stomping.

My final thought is during crisis time becareful of your decisions. Your decisions determine your future. You don't want to amke any decisions that have long term effects while under pressure.  If you need some encouragemnet, have a look at this video clip of the man without any arms and legs. It really inspired me to stop whining and just get a move on.

Go and stomp the devil!

My Favourite quotes - by Thomas Jefferson

  • The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in governmen
  • When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.
  • That government is best which governs the least, because its people discipline themselves.
