Ephesians 2:10 For we are God's (own) handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus (born anew) that we may do those works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us..."

The verse goes onto say that we will walk in the good life when we take our destiny. Life is a series of choices. You choose to serve God and you choose to not serve God. You choose to do His Will, or you choose to do your own will. Each choice brings a consequence, a resulting action. Your life is a direct result of your choices, your decisions and finally your actions. You are a result of the choices you made yesterday. In fact, your life is a sum of all the decisions you made, bringing you to where you are right now!

God has preordained your destiny. Once you choose to walk in that destiny, that calling; God will equip you for every good work. Blessings come as a result of obedience to your destiny, to the instruction of God's Word. Curses are a direct result of your disobedience. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Its really quite simple.

Before you were born, God ordained you with a purpose, a 'rasion d etre'. You then have a choice, choose life or death. Its a really simple choice but it has everlasting consequences. Life is really all about your choices. You get more than one chance to make the right choice. In fact if you make the wrong choice, you will have another opportunity to visit that choice and once again make another choice, this time a different choice. Problem is, most of us make choices based upon our understanding, our experiences and our emotions at the time.

Choices equal decisions. Decisions lead to actions, which finally will lead to your destiny. In Joshua 1:8 we are told to meditate on the Book of the Law, day and night, and our way will be prosperous and successful. It seems to simple, too good to be true. In fact it is really simple. If you were to make decisions based purely upon what the Word says, your choices will always be blessed, thus you will have a successful and good life!

God promises a Good Life. I want the good life. In Psalm 23 it says my cup will overflow, I will not want! That describes my heart. This requires some good decisions, based upon the Word of God. Are you ready to prosper? It really is that simple. Go for it. Grab some good life, some overflowing great life.

My Favourite quotes - by Thomas Jefferson

  • The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in governmen
  • When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.
  • That government is best which governs the least, because its people discipline themselves.
