Turning how-to instructions into cash is what you'll find at eHow.com. It's a quick and relatively easy way to earn some money while imparting wisdom and experience. In this difficult economy, a side job is helpful especially when you're probably spending more time at home.

By simply writing how-to instructions and articles, writers become experts on any given subject. For those looking to flex muscles, how-to videos are an option too. eHow is a center for give and take. The catch, of course, is getting people to read your instructions or watch the videos. It's a great lesson in search engine optimization by picking select words that generate the most interest -- a nice job skill for those serious in marketing.

Picture this. You need to figure out how to pill a cat or how to buy and set up surround sound home theater system -- eHow probably has an answer if not multiple answers. It's not quite the same as Yahoo! Answers, Google Answers, WikiAnswers, Answers.com or Ask.com. The key difference is instructions rather than an answer to a burning question. Whether you need help or want to give help, eHow.com is worth a look.
