To avoid the dreaded summer creep, children need to keep practicing their math and reading skills during summer vacation. While it can be a challenge to get kids excited about writing in workbooks, educational websites are another story. Try one of these websites for summer learning fun:

  • Noggin - Dora, Diego and a host of other educational television characters help your child review colors, shapes, problem solving skills and more.
  •  PBS Kids - Curious George, Maya and Miguel and other PBS friends teach colors, basic reading skills, etc.
  • Discovery Kids - Learn about science with the games, experiments and other information on this site.
  • Fun Brain - A lot of math and reading drill games are available on this site. The games don't have a lot of bells and whistles, but they do help kids brush up on their skills.
  • Free Rice - Help end world hunger while you answer questions about basic math, vocabulary, chemistry and more.
