The other day I was able to taste test, along with my wee one, a sampling of items from Plum Organics and Revolution Foods – from parent company Nest Collective. Nest Collective is all about creating healthy foods that make parents’ lives easier. Plum Organics are organic foods for baby and tots and Revolution Foods are organic items great for lunch boxes or a snack on the go. The colorful packaging had us excited to give them a try!

We started out with a handful of Plum Organic Tots Fruity Fingerfuls that are made up of organic freeze dried fruit along with grain bites. I gave them a taste before passing a couple to my little one, and quickly turned the bag over to check the sugar content. The fruit bits were so fruity – they can’t do this without tons of sugar! But, guess what? No high fructose corn syrup! These things are just naturally good.

Next we moved on to a Revolution Foods Organic Grammy Sammy. These are individually packaged graham sandwiches with something yummy in the middle. What I really liked about the Grammy Sammy was I could hand the whole thing to my budding eater and it didn’t crumble into a huge mess – and she could eat it by herself! Once again, no high fructose corn syrup, no trans fats or artificial ingredients. Just organic goodness! And, the packaging is recyclable. They also make a Jammy Sammy, which is like a mini sandwich with jam or some other goodness.

The Revolution Foods Organic Mashups were another big favorite. They are these cool containers (also recyclable) of pureed fruit that toddlers can eat on their own by taking off the top and squeezing directly into their mouths. My little one is a bit too young for this yet, so I fed some to her and tasted it myself. Once again, just pure organic fruit as the ingredient with great flavor!

Both the Plum Organics Tots and the Revolution Foods’ products are fantastic for environmentally conscious parents along with anyone that wants to feed their kids something that tastes good and is easy to eat. It doesn’t hurt that the items are organic. The Revolution Foods products help make packing lunches healthier and also more environmental. Not only are they great products for older kids, but for moms and dads looking for something to take on the run for their little wee ones.

So, give them a try! They just might make your life a little easier and tastier!
