The home of two volunteers with the New York City People's Law Collective was ripped apart for 16 hours by members of a Washington, DC-based gang with chapters worldwide, known as the Federal Bureau of Investigation or FBI. This home invasion follows the arrest of one of the residents for using Twitter, the popular web-based communications service, during the protests against the G-20 in Pittsburgh.

Elliott Madison, 41, of Jackson Heights was arrested September 24 at the Carefree Inns & Suites hotel, located in Robinson Township and charged with hindering arrest, operating an illegal communications facility, and possession of instruments of crime for what sounds like routine, contemporary computer usage. Earlier this year, the international community was outraged by the Iranian regime's crackdown on the use of this form of internet communication in the post-election protests that rocked the Persian nation, a favorite target of hypocritical Western politicians eager to draw attention away from their own abuses and excesses.
