In an interview at FlickFilosopher.com, actress Carey Mulligan, star of the rave-reviewed film An Education and known to Doctor Who fans as Sally Sparrow from Steven Moffatt's 2007 episode Blink, indicates that given the chance she would love to return as Sally Sparrow, even it meant having to change her hair. Says Mulligan, "I loved doing it. It was about two weeks of running around screaming at things. Yeah, if [Moffatt] asked me back, I'd go back." A return for Mulligan, who is currently dating American actor Shia Labouef and will appear alongside him and actor Michael Douglas in the upcoming Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps, may have real potential: Rumors are currently circulating at various Doctor Who news sites that the Weeping Angels, the villains Sally Sparrow fought in Blink to rescue the Tenth Doctor, may reappear in Matt Smith's first series as the Eleventh Doctor. Perhaps angels and sparrows will fly together soon...

Below are two video clips featuring Carey Mulligan as Sally Sparrow. The first is the Next Time episode trailer for Blink, and the second is the scene where Sally meets the Doctor, after a long fashion.
