Over the summer, a little film called Food, Inc was released exposing the food industry's true colors. It was released on DVD on November 3rd. Be sure to check it out when you get a chance.
If you are looking for a place to buy local food, you can check out a website called Eat Well Guide. Just put in your zip code or city and state and it will point you to places dedicated to selling organic, sustainable, and local foods.
For Billings, these places popped up:
- Good Earth Market located in downtown Billings
- Yellowstone Valley Farmers Market (it's closed for the season)
- Grapevine Ranch Beef
- Montana Range
