The Buffalo Bandits re-signed forward Delby Powless and defenseman Kyle Schmelzle to a one-year contracts. Additionally, the team signed 2009 sixth-round draft choice Matt Friedman to a one-year contract. Friedman, a Buffalo native, played locally at Canisius College. And don’t forget Frank Resetarits of Hamburg, who comes to the team in a trade with Washington.

Go ahead and add Friedman and Resetarits to the list of local boys playing at home, including Patrick Kaleta and Tim Kennedy of the Sabres and Jon Corto of the Bills.

The Bandits also announced the signing of forward Kyle Clancy, the team’s 10th overall selection in the 2009 NLL Entry Draft, to a one-year contract. He should add some scoring punch to the Bandits lineup!
