Here is the Boulder Action Sports calendar and schedule of events for the upcoming week. 

New riders are welcome with Swift Cycling Club. This Saturday, Nov 7. they will be meeting at Vic's on 30th street for an intermediate pace practice ride. Visit the Swift Cycling Club blog for details.

World Run Day is an annual event to promote running and charitable giving. The 5K and 10K run takes place on Sunday, Nov 8 at Boulder Central Park, at 13th Street and Arapahoe. Register on-line for the race at Runners Guide Europe.

On Monday, Nov 9, Scott Christoper of Bicycle Colorado will speak about the promotion of cycling in Boulder and Colorado. The 7PM presentation is at REI Boulder on 28th Street.

A documentary film about this year's Leadville 100 mountain bike race will have an encore showing on Thursday, Nov 12 at the Century Theater in Boulder. The first showing of Race Across the Sky sold out, prompting for this additional show.

BEYOND BOULDER
The Rocky Mountain Road Runners is sponsoring a 9 mile running race in Westminster, CO on Sunday, Nov 8. Part of the Trophy Race Series, the course will be along the the Big Dry Creek Trail at Westminster City Park.

ON-GOING ACTION SPORTS EVENTS

Wednesday
Pearl Street Runners meets at Conner O'Neills at 6:30PM, for a social run every Wednesday.

Sunday
Run every Sunday morning with the Boulder Road Runners. The Sunday group run is at 8 AM, and meets at the First National Bank near Iris and 30th Street.
