Move over, Krypto the Superdog!  There's another powerful pooch in comics now!

The first dog, Bo Obama, will be getting his own comic from Bluewater Productions in September.  The comic will be written and drawn by Paul J. Salamoff and Keith Tucker and is meant to appeal to younger readers.  There will also be two covers with art by Joshua Labello and Keith Tucker.

Bluewater has gained attention in the past with comics about President Obama, First Lady Michelle, Sarah Palin and John McCain.  Later this year Bluewater will also publish a new Obama comic as well as one on Vice-President Joe Biden.

When President Obama appeared on the cover of a Spider-Man comic, it sold out and became an instant collector's item.  Will the same happen to Bo?  Time will tell!
